Need abit of help! So ive just rang my bank as I had sent them a list of disputed transactions, they said that they had received it and it is currently with the complaints team, but I am unsure if they will raise these as chargebacks?

I haven’t done it with them yet, I’m going to speak to them next week and see what they say. They raised it and gave me the money for for transactions I have with Webmosac but that was only for £242

So I'm going through the process of this too, it's not ideal as I understand it's my responsibility but I wish we were more protected. I'm fully GamStop protected and the banks have protections on but obviously these are bypassed by these shady websites!


I tried to call my bank (Zopa Debit) to arrange for these to be charged back due to falsifying MCC codes etc., but the agents just don't seem to understand. Is there a way I should be doing this?


My transactions appear as:


  • MNTX
  • CLMNT
  • DPA*DSLTD
  • TERRVERS
  • COREACTIVE LTD
  • ZYPH
  • MYDLBR NORTHAMPTON


Should I be contacting those directly, it's impossible to find any information on them.

As advised previously, raise them as Goods and Services not received and ensure you have copies of emails sent to merchants.

So you're not telling the banks the actual truth that it's Casino transactions just manipulated by these merchants?

20 days is the maximum time limit for merchant to answer back.


so I don't understand what you mean by 40 days... but I guess you have master card, master card is so so so time delay in chargebacks

I am not referring to mastercard I am referring to Visa my card is visa I was told by my bank which is Visa that the merchant has up to 30 to 45 days to dispute chargeback

They say the sent it to me on Wednesday an it will take up to 10 days


I asked for proof they've sent it via a TRN or ETER but they declined to get be me it.


They have emailed me today saying it's actually still being worked on and processed. Completely contradicting what they've said previously.


They are just stringing me along saying one thing then another.


Bank will not issue a refund either

Mine that have been raised are Visa too and the bank told me it could take up to 45 days. The bank took 5 of the disputes back as they were wanting further information but I was on holiday at the time and couldn't provide it. I think I'm at 30 something days now, I've just withdrawn the money as the bank are closing all my accounts anyway because of these disputes!

I'd love to know this too. Would save so much effort, I've asked all the casinos I used or refunds and they said they dont as I've spent the funds, but I used chatgpt to word a strong letter that I sent them all again yesterday, so we will see what they say.

I am not going to argue with you , over this also all banks are different. I know mine called me to tell me 3 merchants didn't contest the chargeback and 1 had not respond and I had to wait until the full 30 days even then I had to chase it up after the time limit expired .I am now waiting another visa chargeback gone passed 20 days now on 31 so I guess is may be down to bank also .Been in this forum a long time and I do alot of deep diving into everything and have helped alot of people in here .Also read everything regarding visa and mastercard terms and conditions LOL

They haven't refunded me yet. They are just talking rubbish

Said they'd sent me the payment Wednesday

It's now Saturday and apparently they're are still working on it an it's not yet been sent.

I love how banks are actually closing people's accounts over this instead on taking accountability over allowing it to happen. I mean they must know what's going on by now there is over a million people who viewed this chat already. Makes you wonder what's to come of it because I feel like there's something coming.

Seems to me they are giving you a run around. I don't know if you can contact the bank today to see if you have any incoming pending Bacs payments,Did you say they have blocked your account ?

But how is what we want to know because everyone else didn't get that far just fobbed off with TS and C's spent the money blah blah blah. Would be helpful if you have something that we didn't put forward. Surely if they have stated they will refund you can prove it to the bank and they can intervene on it?
