Is your Revolut card Mastercard, by any chance?


If so, I think what they are getting at is that there is no method for them (revolut) to initiate a chargeback if it's a gambling payment. And that includes stuff that has been deliberately miscoded.


Did you mention gambling, or did they just come up with it?


I suspect Mastercard are distributing a 'Hotlist' to all issuing banks, along with instructions not to allow chargebacks to these companies. The reason I think this is that some vendors are now blocked by my IB as I have a gambling block on my cards (Destream, Wexhype, PIX, SMMTRX, Sknvrs and Wbmsc to name a few)


This then means that Mastercard are aware of the problem, the payment gateways, payment processors and fake merchants, but are doing nothing about it.

Has anyone here, with a gambling block on their MarseTERCARD, had payments blocked to suspicious vendors due to that block. Or have you had chargebacks refused when you haven't mentioned gambling?

Are you doing the dispute for gambling or goods or services? If you ask Niko who the merchant was they will tell you. Then do good or services for whatever they offer on the site.

tell Niko you suspect fraud and want to know who the merchant is, and expect them to investigate sort of thing, I have attached their response for mines as an example.
