A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

they are sister sites so basically just use the exact same generic rubbish. Don’t see anyone getting anywhere with these.

Websomac go under a number of guises, including 'Fresh Bet' - I'm not having luck with them at the moment but I'm not giving up- I have an Action Fraud complaint running for them.

Nikoptf global stride which is part of elegro.eu.

if they have stated that it is linked to gambling then surely now ive asked them to re look at the dispute for MCC misrepresentation surely they have to proceed with the dispute?

with webmosc is said that i was paying money for website design so does that actually fall under goods not recieved or is it goods or service not recieved?

This drives me insane!

It is literally the merchants job to ensure the PSP services they have chosen to do business with are using the correct codes.

If this was a mistake under any normal circumstances the merchant would ask their PSP to correct this. UGHHH

What I have done, I am by no means suggesting this but it was successful… is state I purchased video gaming currency (Xbox, PlayStation, Minecraft world of war, whatever) and the merchant listed did not match my purchase.

I never received the virtual credits, which should have been instant by email - I think this is a fraudulent site/merchant and I was scammed..

They can’t really make up an invoice - and it points out the miscoding and fraud because gaming needs a certain MCC

If your referring to me you better be able to back up the big words your using pal ! that is a selfish attitude to people struggling with addiction and doing their best to fight it

Paul, I mean no disrespect, but given your strong stance against freerolling in the past, it’s hard to ignore how things have changed. I do understand the addiction side of this, it’s real, and it’s powerful, but you were someone who set the benchmark and helped others see the potential positives. That said, this whole situation also highlights just how easily these unlicensed casinos prey on vulnerable people, and why they need to be held accountable. The UKGC, government needs to take a firm grip on this issue.

You’re right though there’s always another site that pops up, easy to access and ready to exploit. But let this be a message to everyone, not just you: the only person who can truly overcome gambling addiction is yourself. Sometimes it takes some tough truths to break through. This isn’t just about you, Paul there are many others here who’ve slipped back into old habits or used the information on this thread to abuse the system. It only ends one way though.

And to those knowingly abusing the system, thinking you can fall back on a potential refund take a moment and have a good, hard look at yourself. I’m telling you now, it’s not worth it for a few hours kick of dopamine. This will destroy your life not just financially, but emotionally, and it will hurt the people who care about you too.

I learned my lesson with these unlawful sites the first time around. Late last year, I hit rock bottom in my personal life.. Sure, they were an escape from reality but I have not touched them since. They literally stole over £200k from me. I had won over £400k, but I didn’t see a penny of it. Withdrawals were rejected just to bait me into playing more and it worked. Now, I’m stuck trying to recover from the massive net losses.

Please, stay away from these sites. They’re fronts for much bigger scams designed to drain your money. This forum has been incredibly helpful, and I’ve tried to give back but once I’ve said my piece, I’m out too. These casinos are unlicensed for a reason.

Sometimes I think about flying to Curaçao to confront the people behind all this, but I know the real way to hit them is by recovering what they’ve taken and helping others avoid the same trap. Learn from this, let it be a warning, not a repeated cycle.

Question, has anyone signed a waiver with a casino and if so how binding are they, as they always state that by signing it you consent that you will not pursue them or anyone affiliated with them, however since they do not name their processors, how can you know? 🤷‍♀️

No need to go to Curacao...they are all in Cyprus, Malta and many Eastern European countries.
