Hey is quick bit coinshop? They’ve contested a chargeback but when emailing coinshop they replied from quick bit weird. I wonder who bank will side with

Yes, quickbit is coinshop.

Write to [email protected] and let him know about his company's practices. Ask him to forward your refund too. He's in the board of directors but asks like he doesn't know anything about it all. You can also give him a call at +46 70 082 16 02 or +46 10 222 53 33 and speak with him directly, he told me he has no idea about anything like this happening but will look into it. Put a bit of pressure on him maybe.

Ask him to escalate this issue, since there's plenty of us facing the what his company allowed.

How did the others deal with quickbit? What did they say when they contested the chargeback? Also what did you even write in the chargeback? I have 900€ with them.

Yes, coinshop is quickbit. They were already facing scrutiny a few years ago for gambling accusations to which they replied that "they are not in involved in anything like this, it's all a hoax, we re a legitimate business". You can find it all on the internet. We should report this company to Swedish authorities since they're already for way too long in business and they act all smart and rude.

Dealing with Revolut is a living nightmare. I received the second complaint outcome from them today which is basically a copy/paste of the first one and in one paragraph they say they will attempt to recover the funds even though the unregulated gambling payments I made go against their terms then in another paragraph that they won’t be doing anything! I’ve never dealt with such a bunch of liars.


Those of you whose banks supported them with chargebacks honestly don’t know how lucky you are.

Hello everyone!

Please pay attention to the following advice:

- If you decide to file a chargeback with the bank, do not waste time sending dubious letters to the company. In rare cases, companies may return your money voluntarily, but most of the time, you will only lose precious time.

- Payments can be disputed within 540 days (you need to read the Visa and MasterCard rules carefully). Use your imagination. I will not explain the process on the forum (too many unwanted ears).

- With rare exceptions, banks are unlikely to approve a chargeback related to MCC code manipulation or illegal online casinos. You need to carefully review your bank statement and file disputes under the category of services/products not received (the statement will show what kind of services the company supposedly provides). Again, use your creativity.

- Visa processes chargebacks more favorably than MasterCard.

- You can submit a chargeback request to the bank stating that casino services were not received (use your imagination). However, the bank may reject the chargeback.

- If the bank accepts the chargeback and forwards it to Visa or MasterCard, and you receive a response from the company (either lies from the online casino or claims that you purchased courses or digital products), your task is to carefully analyze these documents. Look for errors—there will be some—and use your imagination. Then file for pre-arbitration with the bank. Time is very limited (check Visa and MasterCard rules).

IMPORTANTY

You must provide documents (evidence) proving that you are in the right. However, be aware that any mention of illegal casinos or fraudulent companies may result in the bank referring you to law enforcement. Fraud cases should be handled by the authorities.

P.S. When dealing with chargebacks, you need to play by the rules of illegal casinos—otherwise, your chances of recovering your money are slim.

MCC shows as 5816 - not sure what that even means tbh. Does that make any difference? Don't really care about codes right now, just need to sort a bank account before payday. Anyone know which banks might still take me on with CIFAS?

Thanks - I will definitely go to citizens advice tomorrow. At this point I'll do literally anything to sort this mess out. Need to get this bank situation fixed before anyone finds out.

It does, it means you can argue with Wise that you've received no digital goods/games, it's then on the merchant to prove otherwise, which they can't as you've received nothing of the sort, if they go down the gambling route, then they're admitting to knowingly miscoding, which is transaction laundering.
