A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

There's definitely some information missing, usually they would communicate it if the merchant contacted them back, seems unlikely an FCA approved body (wise) would issue a CIFAS marker without any correspondence with the customer. If they did then he's got a solid complaint against Wise.

Yes, so what? I don't need an account to read, and I need help now so I have signed up. Are you going to help me or just make a stupid comment?

Banks won't block your accounts when a CIFAS marker is applied, when exactly was it applied? You should still have access to your accounts, but credit or anything like that will rejected.

Could a company like PayPal apply a CIFAS marker? As that's what Wise is similar to, it's not an actual bank, it's an EMS (electronic money services) provider from what i can gather on them.

They have to be leaving some information out, as surely they would have received some correspondence from Wise in regards to the dispute being closed or their account being closed. Also the goods not received approach to these casinos only really has any sort of grounds if an incorrect MCC has been used, they stated they didn't know anything about the MCC used which leads me to believe if they have infact gone forward with a dispute, they could have done it against a legitimate processor who has used the correct MCCs, which correct me if i'm wrong, is probably where they would have rejected the dispute and placed a CIFAS?

Yes, I am an idiot I agree, however, if you won't be helping me than no need to insult me, I am in enough trouble as it is.

I'm definitely suspicious but trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, some of the language they use, spelling of words and such lead me to believe they aren't UK based, aside from that they're missing out a lot of information. Plus they've gone back to LizzieCG's post a few times instead of replying to people.

I played in loads of casinos but recently in Donbet and Mystake but I am 99% sure its the Donbet case. Where do I see the MCC code? I was convinced that Donbet are using non gambling MCCs, and I have seen others mention Donbet previously here. Not that it matters now...

Yes it is very much in the tone of a Nigerian type scammer or something its so far fetched why use a hire car if you have your own one ?

You would need to request that information from Wise as they processed the payment, haven't they sent anything to you in regards to your dispute? is it only against donbet you have disputes against? There's a lot of information missing here, i'd contact citizens advice like AmyGee07 said, they're definitely better equipped to deal with this

The lack of detail and a few words they've used, aswell as spelling is what's made me second guess the legitimacy, i am going to try and give them the benefit of the doubt though.
