NationalBet KYC Concerns

Hello,

I’m just after some thoughts and anyone with experience dealing with NationalBet.

I have deposited £200, and have a pending withdrawal for £1000 however am growing extremely frustrated with their KYC process.

They first requested a copy of my ID and proof of adress which I emailed through on the 22nd November. They came back on the 25th November advising the documents had been accepted, and now needed a photo of the front and back of my debit card which I then sent. On the 27th November, they then requested a selfie of me holding my ID infront of a computer screen which showed me logged into my NationalBet account which I sent.

On the 2nd December (this is where it gets ridiculous…), they emailed me ‘The relevant department requests a tax return apostilled. That is, to be certified and stamped as an official document by the competent authority of the country where the document was issued.’

I have used a large number of international casinos, and have never once been asked to send in anything ‘apostilled’. To get something apostilled can cost anything from £30 upto £100, and this just seems ridiculous. Who’s to say if I send this document, they won’t come back asking for something else to be sent?

The only way to contact the KYC team is via email as their Live Chat don’t deal with KYC/payout queries. The KYC team only work Mon-Fri and typically respond to me once a day if I’m lucky.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar, or am I just being taken for a complete idiot?

Any advice/opinions would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi, according to what I have read I will try to give you some advice. It's probably not going to be groundbreaking, and despite what the casino is asking of you, I'd say I'd try to get this document and send it to them. It's not exactly a standard document that casinos ask for, but it's not actually prohibited by anything. I rather wonder what they want to find out.

However, in order to withdraw your winnings you will have to successfully verify yourself and so unless you do that, it probably won't be possible.

However, if the casino asks for another non-standard document after this one, then let us know and we will try to help if we can.

Think you'll do that?

I’ve never heard of a casino asking for this. If there is no alternative then I’ll have to, however my concern is that they will just keep asking for additional documents, again that may cost me money to produce.

I’ll keep you updated thanks👍🏻

If you are asked about similar documents, let me know, I will try to find out what could be done.

We'll see how it goes when you send them this.

I'll be waiting for a reply. 😉

Ja. Ich soll jetzt eine Steuererklärung einreichen. Ich bin schon seit zwei Wochen dabei mein Konto zu verifizieren. Werden noch weitere Unterlagen von dir eingefordert?

I’ve been asked to send in a payslip as I don’t have any tax documents. I’ll be sending this on Monday so I’ll keep you posted👍🏻

Sorry to say Jake. You won't get your money this is a scam casino. You have more chance speaking to your bank and charging back the initial deposits. Nationalbet won't pay out. I closed my account they "initiated" a withdrawal on my behalf on the 15th of October, I still haven't received it and now receive no reply to any emails.
