A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

They wouldn’t just randomly remove the gambling block in all honesty…

I definitely did not remove it but i have just googled do you have to reapply new gambiling blocks when you recive new card as I was sent a new card and it said

Yes, you may need to re-apply a gambling block to a new debit card if you previously had one on an old card. You can usually manage your card's gambling block through your bank's mobile app.

Right need advice i am now in process of FO ,The accessor told me that my bank had said that I turned off gambling blocks which is a pile of rubbish as I categorically told the bank under no circumstances are they to be removed and there is no gambling transactions since I raised the complaint ,The bank is also sort of trying to mislead the FO by telling them I have raised 2 fraud cases and numerous other transactions cases which is incorrect so I have had to screenshot everything and explain to Fo that it was originally raised as 1 fraud case denied then agreed it would be raised as chargebacks but never was and you can clearly see they kept cancelling it .I have just logged on to my online banking and yep that gambiling block has been removed I am seething what shall I do ? As I never removed it i am now concerned that the bank will not supply all the information that is required for the FO to make a impartial opinion but I know I categorically said to them that the gambling block was not to be removed under any circumstances

I am now waiting in chat to see what there response is to see if you do have to reapply blocks on new card ,but i told them on phone categorically they where not to be removed under any circumstances ,So theoretically that should be marked on the account .There has been no gambling transactions on that account since I had new card either SmH

This has been discontinued now they won't do it. I tried to go down this root in December and they told me yes at first then no that there was no such chargeback with MasterCard.

You need to apply the gambling block yourself to each card its not their fault sadly you do it in the app then you can remove it but there is a cooling off period usually 48 hours

I am sure they told me they have have put safety markers on my account . I am now requesting a Sars for all conversations via telephone ,Either way to blatantly say i removed them of my own accord which wasn't the case is a outright lie .And that they needed to be reapplied if a new card was issued which I was totally unaware off unless they would have gone straight back on I find appalling why can't they just be honest

Ok I am not sure to be honest but it is on you to apply the block I know that hopefully it goes your way though

How is elegro for dealing with, I have 3 different nikotpf* merchants and from research on this thread I believe they are all under Elegro. I've had an email from them asking for statements and card details, again I don't have the physical card as it got replaced so don't know how they will act without that.

Hello,

You need to send them the card number from which the transaction was made (the old card). Your bank has replaced your card, but the account number has not changed. If Elegro cancels the transaction, the refund will be credited to your new card.

This is always how it works.

Elegro haven't directly refunded anyone for a long time. What did you write to them?

Just been to online chat with bank regarding the gambiling blocks on my account ,and I have had it confirmed that the gambling blocks where put on ,by me on the 2nd of June and have remained in place and is still active and has Not been removed at all since .This means they have lied to the FO by telling them I removed the gambiling blocks.I screenshot the transcript and sent it to the FO

Hi all I’ve had an update from the bank (santander). Looks like they are raising my disputes as goods not received and I’ve got to fill out disclaimer forms and send back evidence. I’m just going to include screenshots of the merchants websites being fake and stuff like that. I can’t show any deposits hitting my casino accounts as they all got banned so hopefully that will do

If I’ve got this far do you guys think it’s likely I will win the claims?

Does anyone have an email address for WBMSC?

I have around £2200 paid to this merchant and they are impossible to find. When I spoke to my bank, they told me they are listed as an art dealer. Google search brings up an MOT garage in the UK which have put this on their website https://wbmsc.co.uk/scammer-alert/ so I do not think its them. May be worth trying to send this to your bank as it may help your case . Thats what I have done today
