Hello there.

As far as I understand, this SOW request is an account verification procedure, right? If so, I'm sorry but it can't be avoided, you have to pass this verification and yes, your account may be blocked during this verification until it's finished. It is legal, furthermore, it is enforced by the law, so the casino simply has to do it.

I suggest you check our guide section, the video guide to be more specific you can start at 2:00 timer:

If you wish to get really educated on this subject, go through our free course called "iGaming Customer Support Essentials". You can benefit from it even if you are not interested to work as casino support 🙂:

Hi Radka, you are correct the SOW check is a verification that the funds you use to gamble are legit/clean. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have any problems with that offcourse! But it’s just the way how it happenes that’s annoying me. Why only ask for a SOW request when I want to cashout and not when deposit money?? To me it look a way of stalling the payouts hoping that the player plays his winnings away. But I send everything they asked for so we will see what happens.

Hello,

I'd not dare to suspect anything wrong, but casinos must prove it to process withdrawals.

This is a very good question. And the answer is quite simple and practical, I'd say.

1) Because not every player who deposits wins enough to trigger the withdrawal request. Actually, this is the reason why the account verification is mostly triggered by withdrawal as well, not by deposit.

2) And the second thing is that when somebody decides to play in the casino, the casino won't delay the player with any verification. I can imagine that we all would be pretty angry if they do. "Please wait 72 hours for full account verification to be able to play.." 🙂

Furthermore, by creating an account we all agree with all Terms and Conditions in the first place, so it's up to us to provide full and true information when asking for a withdrawal.

If you can stick to rules, I think that all of those things are more or less ok.

The problem begins with effective self-exclusion, but this is completely a different story.

Let's hope the verification will be done soon 🤞
