Hi everyone who join this discussion 🙂

Do you play for fun to gain experience or to try new slots? Or never try this mode?

From one side I don’t like to waist time playing for fun, also games at many sites glitches when you play in fun mode. But may be it can help to check if you like the game and understand the rules and some lifehacks.

Will be glad to read your thoughts

Hi there!

I think it depends on your play style. Me, for instance, when I'm in my nerd mood I would spend hours figuring out the rules, combinations, and special feature attributes. Best done in demo mode if the slot has the same RTP in both modes.

But while I'm not, well... roll it on hot! 😀

Hi!

I thought that rtp is internal info, or I can ask it at the casino? In fun mode and when playing real mode slots have different rtp? 🤨

Well, allow me to start with a question: Why would a decent casino fail to answer such a question? RTP is not internal, it is the most important aspect of slot games, and we prefer casino states its percentage openly.

I believe Casino Guru Fair Gambling Codex is worth your time. Read it 🙂

Some game providers show the number in the slot settings or details, it is always good to look there.

Let me know if I missed some questions.

Many reputable online casinos do show the Return to Player (RTP) of their slot games. Since the RTP is a percentage that represents the average amount of money wagered on a slot game that will be paid back to players over time, it's best to show it to players. so that they can decide whether it's worth it playing the slots. Sometimes they show it in the settings of the slots.

Yes, and some casinos prefer to show RTP for the last 24 hours which can result in numbers exceeding 100% 😂

I swear I saw that, and to me, it feels misleading.

Have you seen that too?

I haven't personally seen that, but yeah, that's misleading and seems like a 🚩🚩🚩

i hear you casino rewards use to do that very often

Hello!

Not sure I follow - what am I supposed to see there, please?

What about "i hear you casino rewards"? We do not own a casino, I guess it is just a misunderstanding.

🙂

I recall the casino explained, such a value helps players indicate "cold" and "hot" slots. I'd say, it still remains quite misleading information, since technically, it changes nothing compared to the set RTP. It is focused on the emotional side of those players.

Well, the world is an interesting place. 😀

Hey there!!!

indeed was a misunderstanding:

when i "said I hear you¨" I was supporting your line "Yes, and some casinos prefer to show RTP for the last 24 hours which can result in numbers exceeding 100% 😂

I swear I saw that, and to me, it feels misleading." Because Casino rewards network the games they have sometimes have the fire icon = hot (in the screenshot I shared the hot icon at the game Fire Gnomes), and by experience that means absolutely nothing aka misleading or basically marketing to push players to play the game.

I see now!

And I think we're seeing eye to eye! I also think this is quite a buzz. 🙂

I believe it's beneficial to experiment with the 'fun mode' for a brief trial, as it helps grasp the overall dynamics and logic of the game you intend to play. As for your question, indeed, I am one of the individuals who utilize the fun mode to observe the game before diving into my main session.

Indeed, it is!

I guess playing on player's emotions will make them think less logically, and bet more on those slots the casinos wanted to be played.

In my opinion, this is a great practice. Also, I have this bias towards slots that offer fun mode. I have this thinking that they are legit slots because they can give you the 'experience' before you 'invest' in them. Much like downloading demo PC/Nintendo games before really buying the expensive game.

Have you ever felt like the fun mode gives out much bigger winnings, perhaps?

It is still quite a resonating topic, and I'm asking just to hear your opinion. I recall many players saying such things, so despite I also see the fun mode being a great tool too, there are also opposite votes 😀.

M interesting.

What about if the fun modes are coded in a different way than real money ? reasoning from Tech perspective its easy to do that and trick the players.

Dont you think?

I have noticed in some casinos that fun mode is available only for some games. That could bring some red flags.

Hello!

That's the problem. I believe it can happen, especially in casinos with a dubious reputation. On the other hand, I'm convinced catching the casino is almost impossible. The general statement goes as:

Casinos can't temper with the games that are provided directly from the game provider's servers.

Ok, I get that - I hope this is still the common reality. 🙂

What happens when the games are fake? Anything is possible, some shady casinos risk their reputation by offering non-legit games... Proven.

I would love to be 100% sure, when it comes to free versions and their settings. Honestly, I'm not very fond of demo versions.

Speaking about red flags, you made a good point. I guess the casino can say that the particular game is simply not available in demo mode, and I recall Juraj (Casino Games Specialist) saying the same in this thread:

https://casino.guru/forum/slots/request-a-slot-you-would-like-to-play-on-casino-guru/7#post-64978

Can only guess why some games can be played for free and some can't.

Management decision, I reckon 😎

Yes, I get that feeling as well. It seems they really wanted to make it seemed it's "easy" to win on a particular slot and then boom, deposits down the drain once I played the real thing, and it's like 7 out of 10 times. Guess, that's their way of hooking up players.

Hard to beat this feeling, as far as I can tell, casinos are not used to chit chat about such topic which makes the situation even bitter. 🙁

As I mentioned some games are not listed in our Free Games Section because the game provider does not provide the free version. Why? I honestly don't know.
